Our Librarian needs your help. If any of you can answer this call she would appreciate it.
Claire Hoffman, branch manager, is putting together a collection of books and other items relating to Liberty Township history. One of the things she’d like to do is to have as many Liberty High School and Guy Middle School yearbooks as possible. The high school wants about $79 per copy, so any copies given to the library would save the Friends and the library quite a bit of money.
She now has a 1976 Guy yearbook and LHS yearbooks from 1978, 1979, 1981, 1982, and 1998. If you or anyone you know have any yearbooks from years other than those listed that you’d like to donate and share with the community, please give Claire a call at the library (330-759+-2589) to check if anyone else has given her books from the years you have. If no one has, she’ll be happy to add them to the collection.
If you do donate yearbooks, you can deduct their value as a non-cash charitable contribution for tax purposes. Just ask for a receipt when you make your donation.
Thank you, and ask your friends to help out, too!

It is now true that Vintage Village has new owners. Vince Naska is the Business Manager from Akron. He plans on making a lot of changes in the community, including a gated and security camera’s. He has stated that many homes will be worked on. They will also be tieing into the sewer system asap. All things are for the good we hope , we will just have to wait  and see.
